Report Title: Crime; Protection of Self, Others, or Property; Reimbursement
Description: Provides reimbursement of reasonable legal costs to defendants charged with an offense under certain sections of the Penal Code if the defendant is found not guilty because the use of force upon or toward another person is justifiable because of self-protection, protection of others, or protection of property.

A person accused of committing a crime which is latter adjudicated to be self-defense should be reimbursed by the state for their loss of income and earnings and any legal fees. This will discourage the state arbitrarily arresting people in cases that openly appear to be self-defense situations.
